Happy Mothers Day to Mommy!!

This is the card that my sisters and I got Mommy yesterday.......you ask WHY did we get a card with Beaters on it....... well its because we ALWAYS get to lick the beaters when she makes MASHED POTATOES!!!! OMG it is SOOOO GOOD!!!


and YES ... Safety FIRST.... she ALWAYS turns it off!! silly card...... OUR MOMMY IS THE BEST MOMMY!!!! we Love her sooooo much ♥ ♥

Where we have been Lately

This is where I have been for the last couple weeks.... working on remodeling my sisters bedroom....you only see me in a few pictures as I was VERY busy in the background working B.O.L.!!! The other pictures are of the stairs coming into the house ... daddy had to replace them and than pictures of the new walls going into the basement!

Mommy had to peel off layers of paint along with wallpaper from the 40's - 50's?? and this lovely yellow yuck was underneath the pink paint and wallpaper.......

here is the ceiling ..... mommy said she never got a pic of the ceiling..... it had tiles that were glued onto it. ALSO the same corner that the yuck was on

here is ONE of TWO original windows of the house (built 1927) This one works ... the one in the living room does not!!


here it is cleaned, new hardware, trim, primer and paint!! MUCH better. LOVE it!!

here is the same window but with new flooring going in.....the original hardwood floors could not be saved as there were SOOOO many holes and pet stains... hmmmmm NOT FROM ME!!! mom said previous owner

ummmm again WASN'T ME!!!

Here I AM!!! SOMEONE has to inspect the work of the Humans!! B.O.L.!!

Autumn and the Mixer

Well Today was baking day...and Autumn has been with us now for 5 months, BUT she has LEARNED really Quickly what it means when Mommy takes out the Mixer..... COOOOOKIESSSSSS. Although she starts to pace and scratch my legs even BEFORE I get the cookies IN the oven. ITS game ON tho when the timer goes off because that means the cookies are DONE!!!!!! OMD IT IS TIME TO TEST ONE OUT!!! Its about this time that I get THE MOST PITIFUL look because she has to WAIT!! (I know abuse is occuring at this point...) I tell her that they have to cool off....I am NOT really sure she understands this because it is USUALLY followed by a series of barks lettingme know she does NOT CARE if they are hot..... it is a Cookie and it MUST BE EATEN NOW!! Now Lainey is HEAD Taste Tester...but she has been slacking....I think she either has Spring Fever or she is still in adjustment mode with Autumn. Autumn MUST taste EVERY cookie and she CANNOT taste them in the Kitchen like some common PERSON...OH NO she must bring ALL TREATS into the Dining Room .... where the Elite eat!!

Well she got her taste testing in today....so all is at peace with the world today..... she will not starve and will be able to taste test another day!
